The Coleman Irish Music Centre has three main attractions, Coleman Cottage and Archive, the Music School and the Visitors Centre and Theatre.
The theatre holds 150 people and is also used for Ceilí nights. A series of concerts is held in the theatre every summer which will feature the finest living exponents of traditional music. The theatre is also home to an audio-visual display on south Sligo, its music and the life of Michael Coleman. In the visitors centre there is a permanent exhibition where you can listen to instruments, musical styles and individual musicians from the beginning of the 20th century to the music of today.
